Rugby teenager dies from leukaemia as parents issue heartbreaking warning

A Rugby mother is urging parents to learn the warning signs of childhood cancer after her 14-year-old son Fred died just nine months after being diagnosed with leukaemia. The family initially put Fred's tiredness and lack of appetite down to typical teenage changes, before a GP blood test led to an emergency hospital admission.
